OUR HISTORY AND NUMBERS

Founded in 1981, thanks to the initiatives of forward-looking companies, ASSIDIM is an association with solely charitable and non-profit purposes, registered since 2010 in the Supplementary Funds Healthcare Registry established by the Ministry of Health.

ASSIDIM provides benefitsand services due to illness, accidents, death, disability, long term careand serious illnesses to employees and contractors.

With more than 1,800 companies and 280,000 people benefiting from these services, it is one of the leading organizations operating in the field of health care in Italy.

MISSION AND VALUES

We support the transition from «treatment of disease» to «healthcare and well-being», in line with the growing demand for health, prevention and well-being expressed by people who, as proved by evidence and demographic/epidemiological trends, live longer but not in “good health“.

We believe that, in order to respond to for these needs, is necessary to engage stakeholders operating in healthcare and corporate welfare.

ASSIDIM is a NON PROFIT association that:

  • Complies with the Statute principles of mutuality,solidarity and cost-effectiveness
  • Has its own headquarters, employees and organisational structure
  • Transfers the large majority of risks to the insurance market.
  • Has a partnership with a broker that provides the best insurance solutions, promotes the association’s activity, and manages reimbursement services.
  • Offers standard or “tailored” solutions to replace or top up benefits provided by the National Healthcare System or by industry-wide funds established by National Contractual Agreements (i.e. FASI, FASDAC, QUAS, EST..)
  • Offers healthcare benefitsto employees and their families through:
    • MYRETE Network of hospitals and medical centers
    • Services for medical consultation and tele-medicine
  • Offers on-line access to employers and beneficiaries to manage their plans.
  • Guarantees quick reimbursements

VISION

ASSIDIM, is consistent with its identity and aware of future challenges for public healthcare and corporate welfare and wants to:

  • Stimulate employers to understand the importance of providingsupplementary healthcare and welfare benefits, preventive care and wellbeing.
  • Promote andprotect healthcare, to have a significant impact on cost effectiveness of healthcare systems, companies and people.
